Shade guide

Pick your shade.

The percentage is how much light gets through, so lower is darker. Tap a shade to see it, and what Florida allows.

Visible light through the glass

The classic tinted look.

Dark enough to notice from the curb, and legal on every side window of a Florida car.

Limits from Florida Statutes 316.2953 and 316.2954. Shades on screen are approximate, and factory glass changes the final number.

How it works

How a mobile job goes.

  1. Call or text

Tell John what needs tint and where it will be parked. Weekdays, 9 to 5.

  2. Choose the film

He walks you through the shades and Florida’s limits before anything goes on the glass.

  3. He comes to you

Your garage, your driveway or the lot at work. A typical car takes a couple of hours.

  4. Let it cure

Keep the windows rolled up for a few days while the film settles in.

The Florida sun can stay outside.

Good film stops most of the UV that fades dashboards and upholstery, and a real share of the heat that comes through the glass.

John came to my home this past week and did a great job on my 2008 sedan. He did all 4 doors and the rear window. The price was reasonable and he very clearly explained tint options to me. He arrived at the appointed time and took about 2 hours to do the job. I would recommend this person to anyone needing an auto tint job. (He also does residential).

I've used Brandon Mobile tint on multiple high end vehicles. This business always caters to my needs by making and keeping appointments. The tint he uses is high quality and has lasted on at least 4 vehicles he has tinted for me. His services have always been offered at great prices. Very happy with this service five star review.

Questions

What people ask first.

Anything else, just call. John answers weekdays from 9 to 5.

Is window tint legal in Florida?

Yes, within limits. Front door glass has to let in at least 28% of the light. Behind the driver, cars need at least 15%, and SUVs, trucks and vans at least 6%. Florida also has a medical exemption for darker glass.

Do I have to bring the car anywhere?

No. Brandon Mobile Tint is a mobile service, so the work happens where the car is parked: your garage, your driveway or the lot at work.

How long does a car take?

A typical car with four doors and a back window takes a couple of hours. Trucks, vans, homes and storefronts depend on how much glass there is, so ask when you call.

When can I roll the windows down?

Give the film a few days to cure first. John will tell you the timing for your film and the weather that week.
